Meet The Doctor
Growing up in Turlock, California, Joseph Fair had an interest in playing sports, but struggled to perform well from battling Exercise Induced Asthma. Since, high endurance sports was hard on his health it led him to start playing golf in high school. He found a love in golf that led him to a full scholarship to play at the University of Hawaii-Hilo. At Hilo, he played golf for 2 years while pursuing a degree in Psychology. After 2 years at Hilo, he decided to move back to California going to Santa Barbara pursuing an interest in Chiropractic after receiving an adjustment that completely relieved the asthma he had suffered from throughout his whole childhood.
In 2011, he began chiropractic college at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. In his early years at school, he found that the Gonstead Chiropractic System really interested him and fit his beliefs as a Chiropractor, specializing in specific chiropractic corrections of the full spine. He became the President of the Gonstead Club and the President and founder of the Life Chiropractic College West branch of Rehab 2 Performance (R2P), which educated students on the importance of retraining the patient’s body to move correctly to optimizing performance and longevity. He attended many seminars during his educational years, certifying him in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise Trainer (DNSET), Active Release Technique (ART), Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), and Extremity Adjusting.
After his first chiropractic adjustment, he was inspired to do the same for others, leading him to work with CrossFit athletes, Olympic Hopefuls, dance studios, firefighters, college level athletes in wrestling, football, baseball, soccer, and swimming, and has worked with numerous geriatric patients to regain their movement and health.
