WORKSHOPS
We have a program that provides local gyms with education for their members and coaches on injury prevention. From treating Olympic hopeful athletes at California Strength in San Ramon, and dozens of Regional level Crossfit athletes, I have noticed that the fitness community is terribly under served in this risk management department.

In the seminar we spend 1 hour discussing the cause of injuries from a structural and muscular level, and talk in detail how these injuries can be prevented. We spend the second hour teaching practical applications of these concepts and how to train to make the athletes not only more resilient, but will open up mobility weaknesses, and strength gaps. All of these techniques are extremely useful for your trainers, so they can help prevent injuries in the future as well.

I offer 2 separate seminars that I have designed from over 500 hours of sports rehabilitation training. Each seminar is custom built from the needs and wants of the gym. A general overview is as follows:

Upper Body and CORE:
-Thoracic Mobility and Stability
-Shoulder Mobility and Stability
-Elbow Mobility and Stability
-Wrist Mobility and Stability
-CORE connection work. This is an in depth approach at Diaphragmatic Breathing and building strength and mobility from the inside out.

Lower Body and CORE:
-Lower Back Mobility and Stability
-Hip Mobility and Stability
-Knee Mobility and Stability
-Ankle Mobility and Stability
-Foot Mobility and Stability
-CORE connection work. This is an in depth approach at Diaphragmatic Breathing and building strength and mobility from the inside out.

We also offer a focused 1 hour workshop of specific movements. These workshops tend to be based in basic movement principles such as:

-Squats
-Pullups
-Thrusters
-Overhead Press
-Deadlifts
-Breathing
-And many more.
