How Vibration Works
Whole body vibration therapy uses a platform that vibrates at high frequencies to stimulate rapid muscle contractions and relaxation. This improves circulation, boosts lymphatic drainage, reduces swelling, and accelerates toxin removal. It strengthens and conditions muscles without the high impact of traditional exercise. For patients in recovery, it provides the stimulus for adaptation without the mechanical stress that could re-injure tissue.
Is this right for you?
Patients in rehabilitation who need muscle activation without high-impact loading. Athletes looking to enhance flexibility and recovery speed. Active adults who want to maintain conditioning during an injury recovery period without risking setback.
Your first session
You will stand on the vibration platform for 10 to 15 minutes while the machine works at various frequencies. The sensation is unusual at first but not uncomfortable. Most patients notice improved flexibility and reduced stiffness immediately after the session. It pairs well with chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue work.
Vibration is one part of the system. Not a standalone fix.
Pain is a lagging indicator. Treating symptoms in isolation is why problems keep returning. Vibration works best as part of a coordinated plan that identifies the driver, corrects the dysfunction, and builds durability so the problem stops cycling.
